I've decided to cut out February and the first week of March and just continue from where I'm at with my Five Year Journal... Life is just mowing me down this year!
I had a look at the 365 question list for March, and decided to just start from today's date. Today is the 15th of March, and the prompt for today is
Who is the last person you said 'I love you' to?
About an hour ago, I was sitting on the couch, Z scrambled up next to me and put her face right up into mine, her eyes ultra wide, and said "DO YOU LIKE ME?!". I replied "YES I DOOO!". She then put her face in mine again, and asked "Do you love mee? I love you very much!", and I replied, "Yes I do, I love YOU very much!".
I'm really enjoying her random outbursts of love. She's having them a lot recently, and it's very entertaining for LP and I.

Five Year Journal #3...
February 1st - What is your favourite piece of art you own?

This is a canvas that Z painted when she was about 12 months old. We both had so much fun making it. I bought a huge canvas from the cheap shop, for about $20, squirted non-toxic paint all over it, stripped Z down to her nappy and let her go crazy. She slipped and slid all over it, giggling and squishing the paint between her fingers and toes. I had water and paper towels handy in case she slipped her fingers in her mouth, but it all went off without incident. I then stripped the canvas off the board, and cut it into smaller sizes. The part in the frame (apologies for the poor quality), was my favourite. Her little foot in the corner hints at it. I've had people tell me they thought I paid for it, although I'm uncertain whether they meant this in a good or bad way! Either way, I love it, and It's something I'll treasure forever.
